The Needles Landmark Attraction has raised £2,000 for Isle of Wight charities during its summer season.
Throughout August The Needles was the setting for a fireworks spectacular, Music & Magic in the Skies, and each week the event raised funds for a different local charity.
The world-famous landmark site worked with Earl Mountbatten Hospice; Beaulieu House; Challenge and Adventure; Ability Dogs 4 Young People and Youth Trust IW with each day’s celebrations themed accordingly.
Marino Zanti, general manager at The Needles Landmark Attraction, said:
“In total we raised over £2,000 for these incredibly worthy causes and also put the charities’ messages in front of an audience of over 50,000 people.
“We hope that the much-needed funds and awareness generated will assist these amazing organisations in going from strength-to-strength over the coming months.
“The staff here at The Needles also threw themselves into the fundraising spirit with the chairlift team romping ahead in the fundraising stakes.”Back to Recent News
